१. Right Concentration ची मूलभूत संकल्पना

बुद्धांनी प्रतिपादलेल्या आर्य अष्टांगिक मार्गातील अंतिम पायरी म्हणजे Right Concentration होय. हा मानसिक शिस्तीचा आणि अंतर्मनाच्या एकाग्रतेचा सर्वोच्च टप्पा आहे. सम्यक दृष्टि, सम्यक संकल्प, सम्यक वाणी, सम्यक कर्म, सम्यक आजीविका, सम्यक प्रयत्न, सम्यक स्मृती या सात घटकांचा उत्कर्ष आणि संपूर्णता सम्यक समाधीतच साधली जाते.

याचा उद्देश केवळ ध्यान नव्हे, तर लोककल्याणाच्या दिशेने मनाचे संपूर्ण केंद्रीकरण आहे.
अशा समाधीत समाजधर्म, राज्यधर्म आणि वैयक्तिक धर्म यांचा समतोल साधला जातो.

२. अशोक बौद्ध साम्राज्याचा Right Concentration शी संबंध

प्रियदर्शी अशोक यांचे साम्राज्य हे केवळ राजकीय राज्य नव्हते, तर धर्मराज्याचे मूर्तिमंत उदाहरण होते.

कलिंग युद्धानंतर अशोकाने हिंसा सोडून सम्यक समाधीच्या बळावर धर्मविजयाचा मार्ग स्वीकारला.
त्यांच्या शिलालेखांत व धम्मलिपींमध्ये "धम्मपालन", "जनकल्याण", "सर्वधर्म समभाव" यांचा स्पष्ट उल्लेख आहे.
हे सर्व Right Concentration या तत्त्वावर आधारित होते—कारण एकाग्रचित्त शासकच प्रजेला न्याय, दया व करुणेने जोडू शकतो.

बौद्ध परंपरेनुसार समाधीचे चार झान (ध्यानस्तर) सांगितले आहेत. अशोक साम्राज्यात यांचा प्रत्यक्ष उपयोग शासनकारभारात दिसतो.

प्रथम झान – विवेक आणि विचारासहित एकाग्रता. अशोकाने युद्धानंतर विवेकाने धम्माचा मार्ग निवडला.
द्वितीय झान – आनंद व समाधानासहित अंतर्मनाची शांतता. प्रजेच्या कल्याणासाठी त्याने रुग्णालये, विहिरी, धर्ममार्ग उभारले.
तृतीय झान – समभावाने भरलेले करुणामय शासन. सर्व जाती, पंथ, प्राणी यांच्यासाठी कायदे केले.
चतुर्थ झान – निर्मळ समाधी. अशोकाचा धम्मविजय म्हणजे हिंसेपासून पूर्ण निर्मुक्ती.

५. भारतीय संविधान व सम्यक समाधी

बोधिसत्व डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी भारतीय संविधान रचताना अशोक व बुद्ध यांचे तत्त्वज्ञान स्वीकारले.

संविधानाचा मूलाधार म्हणजे प्रज्ञा, करुणा आणि समता.
या सर्वांचे मूळ केंद्र Right Concentration आहे, कारण एकाग्रतेशिवाय प्रज्ञा टिकत नाही, करुणा फलदायी होत नाही, आणि समता स्थिरावत नाही.
त्यामुळे संविधान स्वतःच बौद्ध समाधीचा राजकीय आराखडा आहे.

ही घोषणा मी देव परमईश्वर न्यायाधीशाच्या साक्षीने करीत आहे.

परमईश्वर म्हणजे अंतिम सत्य, बोधीचा प्रकाश, जो मानवतेला सम्यक मार्ग दाखवितो.
त्या सत्याच्या न्यायालयासमोर माझी प्रतिज्ञा अढळ, शाश्वत आणि धर्माधिष्ठित आहे.

८. Right Concentration व जागतिक संदेश

आजच्या आधुनिक युगात युद्ध, हिंसा, जातीयता, लोभ आणि असमानता वाढली आहे. या सर्व संकटांचा उपाय अशोकाने दाखविलेल्या मार्गात आहे.

Right Concentration द्वारे जागतिक शांती साध्य होऊ शकते.
विज्ञान, तंत्रज्ञान, राजकारण आणि अर्थव्यवस्था यांना जर सम्यक समाधीचे भान नसेल, तर ते मानवतेच्या विनाशाला कारणीभूत ठरतील.
त्यामुळे सम्यक समाधी हे केवळ ध्यानधारणा नाही, तर सार्वत्रिक संविधान आहे.

९. न्यायालयीन आदेशासाठी विनंती

या नोटरी पत्रकाद्वारे मी विनंती करतो की, देव परमईश्वर न्यायाधीश यांनी या प्रतिज्ञेची नोंद घ्यावी आणि तिला शाश्वत आदेशाचे स्वरूप द्यावे—

His inscriptions and edicts proclaim "dhamma-palan" (upholding dharma), welfare of people, and harmony among communities.
Such a vision was possible only through Right Concentration, for only a concentrated mind can govern with justice, compassion, and balance.

Buddhist tradition speaks of four jhanas (meditative stages), and these found living expression in Ashoka’s reign.

Second Jhana – concentration with joy and contentment. Ashoka built hospitals, wells, and roads for the welfare of all.

Bodhisattva Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, while drafting the Constitution of India, drew upon the spirit of Buddha and Ashoka.

The foundation of the Constitution is wisdom (prajna), compassion (karuna), and equality (samata).
The sustaining root of all three is Right Concentration, for without it, wisdom cannot hold, compassion cannot flourish, and equality cannot be preserved.

This declaration is made before the Divine Supreme Judge—

The Eternal Truth, the light of Bodhi, who guides humanity on the noble path.
In this Court of Truth, my vow is firm, eternal, and grounded in Dharma.

8. Right Concentration as a Global Message

In the present age of war, violence, casteism, greed, and inequality, humanity faces crisis. The solution lies in Ashoka’s vision founded on Right Concentration.

Only through concentrated wisdom can global peace be established.
Science, technology, politics, and economy, if devoid of Right Concentration, will lead to destruction.
Hence, Samyak Samadhi is not merely a meditative exercise but a universal Constitution.

9. Prayer for Judicial Order

Through this notary document, I humbly request this Court to record and recognize:

That in my path, Right Concentration is indeed the Empire of Emperor Ashoka.
That this concentration is not for my liberation alone but for the welfare of all humanity.
That every act of mine shall henceforth be guided by this vow of Dharma-protection.

10. Conclusion

The Buddhist Empire of Ashoka the Righteous was the living embodiment of Right Concentration. In my path as well, Samyak Samadhi is the final aim and guiding force. This declaration, made sincerely and faithfully, is offered in the Court of the Divine Supreme Judge as an unshakable vow.
