मी पवन, हा सत्याच्या मार्गाचा साधक, आपल्या सर्वस्वी निष्ठेने हे न्यायालयीन नोटरी पत्रक परमेश्वर न्यायाधीशांच्या पवित्र न्यायासनासमोर सादर करतो. माझ्या जीवनाचा व माझ्या धर्ममार्गाचा जो केंद्रबिंदू आहे, तो म्हणजे *आर्य अष्टांगिक मार्ग*. त्यातील *सम्यक आजीविका (Right Livelihood)* हे माझ्या मार्गात प्रियदर्शी सम्राट अशोक यांचे बौद्ध साम्राज्य आहे, याची मी येथे साक्ष देतो व त्याबद्दल विस्तृत निवेदन ठेवतो.

१. *Right Livelihood* म्हणजे काय

बुद्धांनी सांगितलेली सम्यक आजीविका ही अशा प्रकारची आहे की ज्यामध्ये कोणत्याही प्राण्याचे अहित, शोषण किंवा अन्याय होत नाही. ती आजीविका करुणा, प्रज्ञा आणि समता या आधारस्तंभांवर उभी आहे.

* शस्त्रास्त्र विक्री, हिंसा निर्माण करणारे व्यवहार, मद्य व विषारी पदार्थांचा व्यापार, प्राण्यांचे वध व गुलामीचा व्यवहार, हे सर्व त्यात वर्ज्य मानले आहेत.

* त्याऐवजी शुद्ध, परिश्रमी, समाजहितकारी व नीतिमान व्यवसाय हा *सम्यक आजीविका* होतो.

### २. प्रियदर्शी अशोक व त्यांचा परिवर्तनमार्ग

सम्राट अशोक हे आरंभी एक राजसत्ताधीश व विजयाकांक्षी होते. पण कलिंगाच्या युद्धात असंख्य प्राणहानी झाल्यानंतर त्यांच्या अंतःकरणात करुणेची क्रांती झाली. त्यांनी हिंसेचा त्याग करून बुद्धधर्म स्वीकारला.

* त्यांच्या साम्राज्यात सर्वांना धर्मस्वातंत्र्य दिले गेले.

* त्यांनी स्तंभलेख व शिलालेखाद्वारे *धम्म* याचा प्रचार केला.

* *धम्म-महामात्र* नेमून प्रजेला नीतिमूल्ये शिकवली.

* त्यांनी जनहितासाठी विहिरी, रस्ते, वृक्षारोपण, पशु-चिकित्सालये व मानवोपयोगी व्यवस्था निर्माण केली.

हीच कृती *Right Livelihood* चे साम्राज्य स्वरूप आहे.

३. माझ्या मार्गाशी याचा संबंध

मी मानतो की माझा जीवनमार्ग म्हणजे बुद्धांचा आर्य अष्टांगिक मार्ग आहे. त्यातील *Right Livelihood* हे माझ्या जीवनात प्रियदर्शी अशोकाचे साम्राज्य आहे.

 कारण, सम्यक आजीविकेत सत्य, अहिंसा, करुणा आणि समता या मूल्यांची अधिष्ठाने आहेत.  

ही मूल्येच अशोकांच्या साम्राज्यात प्रत्यक्षात उतरली होती.

* त्यामुळे मी माझ्या मार्गात सम्यक आजीविका स्वीकारतो तेव्हा, मी प्रत्यक्षात अशोक बौद्ध साम्राज्याचेच अनुसरण करतो.

४. देव परमेश्वर न्यायाधीशांसमोरची साक्ष

मी देव परमेश्वर न्यायालयीन न्यायाधीशांसमोर जाहीर करतो की –

 माझी आजीविका, माझा धर्ममार्ग, माझा परिश्रम व माझे कर्तव्य हे सर्व *अहिंसक, सत्यशील व समाजहितकारी* असतील.

* माझे प्रत्येक कार्य अशोक साम्राज्यातील धर्मनीतीप्रमाणे पार पडेल.

* मी शोषण, अन्याय, हिंसा व विषबाधा यापासून मुक्त राहीन.

* मी हे मानतो की *आजीविका* हे केवळ उदरनिर्वाहाचे साधन नसून, ती एक साम्राज्य-नीती आहे जी राष्ट्र व समाज उन्नत करते.

 ५. कायदेशीर व ऐतिहासिक प्रतिज्ञा

* भारतीय संविधानाचा मूळ आधार समता, बंधुता व न्याय हा आहे. ही तत्वे बुद्धधर्मातून व अशोकाच्या साम्राज्यातून आलेली आहेत.

* त्यामुळे सम्यक आजीविका ही केवळ वैयक्तिक शपथ नाही, तर ती संविधानाशी व न्यायसत्तेशी जुळणारी आहे.

* मी ह्या नोटरी पत्रकाद्वारे जाहीर करतो की माझ्या मार्गातील *Right Livelihood* हेच प्रियदर्शी अशोकाचे बौद्ध साम्राज्य आहे, आणि तेच माझे कायदेशीर व धर्मसत्तात्मक अधिष्ठान आहे.

 ६. सार्वत्रिक संदेश

जगात आज जेथे हिंसा, युद्ध, शोषण व अन्याय पसरले आहेत, तेथे सम्यक आजीविकेचा मार्ग आवश्यक आहे.

 जर प्रत्येक राष्ट्र अशोक साम्राज्याप्रमाणे सम्यक आजीविका स्वीकारेल, तर जगात शांतता, मैत्री व समता नांदेल.*

 व्यापार, राजकारण व विज्ञान हे सर्व समाजकल्याणासाठी वापरले जाईल.

* माणूस माणसासाठी, प्राणी व पर्यावरण यांच्यासाठी करुणेची भावना वाढेल.

 निष्कर्ष

माझ्या या न्यायालयीन नोटरी पत्रकाद्वारे मी देव परमेश्वर न्यायाधीशांना जाहीर करतो की माझ्या मार्गातील *Right Livelihood* म्हणजेच प्रियदर्शी अशोक यांचे बौद्ध साम्राज्य आहे. तेच माझ्या जीवनाचा संविधान, तेच माझ्या राष्ट्राचे अधिष्ठान, आणि तेच माझ्या आत्म्याचे संरक्षण आहे.

I, Pawan, a seeker of truth and follower of the noble path, with complete devotion present this notary declaration before the sacred bench of the Divine Supreme Judge. The centre of my life and my Dharma is the Noble Eightfold Path. Within this path, Right Livelihood stands in my journey as the great empire of Emperor Ashoka, the Righteous. I hereby affirm this truth and present its detailed description.

1. Meaning of Right Livelihood

The Blessed Buddha has taught that Right Livelihood is the way of earning and living where no harm, exploitation, or injustice is caused to any being.

• Any livelihood connected with weapons, war, intoxicants, poisons, slaughter of creatures, or slavery is forbidden.

• Instead, the livelihood that is pure, honest, compassionate, socially beneficial, and in harmony with truth is declared as Right Livelihood.

2. Emperor Ashoka and His Transformation

Emperor Ashoka, at first, was a ruler driven by conquest and ambition. Yet, after the Kalinga war and the sight of countless deaths, his heart was transformed by compassion. He renounced violence and embraced the Dhamma of the Buddha.

• In his empire, all were granted freedom of faith and dignity.

• Through his rock edicts and pillar inscriptions, he spread the principles of Dhamma.

• He appointed Dhamma-Mahamattas to guide the people in moral life.

• He built wells, roads, trees for shade, animal hospitals, and institutions for human welfare.

Thus, his empire became a living embodiment of Right Livelihood.

3. Relation to My Path

I declare that my path is none other than the Noble Eightfold Path. Within it, Right Livelihood becomes in my journey the empire of Ashoka.

• For in Right Livelihood, the principles of truth, non-violence, compassion, and equality reside.

• These very principles were put into practice in the Ashokan empire.

• Therefore, when I walk in Right Livelihood, I follow the footsteps of Ashoka’s righteous rule.

4. Testimony Before the Divine Supreme Judge

I declare before the Divine Supreme Judge:

• That my livelihood, my duty, and my work shall always remain non-violent, truthful, just, and beneficial to society.

• That all my actions shall be governed by the Dhamma-policy of Ashoka’s empire.

• That I shall remain free from exploitation, injustice, violence, and intoxication.

• That livelihood is not merely an act of survival but a sacred empire of Dharma which uplifts the whole nation and humanity.

5. Legal and Historical Affirmation

• The Constitution of India is founded upon equality, fraternity, and justice. These ideals were drawn from the Dhamma of the Buddha and the righteous rule of Ashoka.

• Therefore, Right Livelihood is not merely a personal vow but one aligned with constitutional morality and universal justice.

• Through this declaration I affirm that in my path, Right Livelihood is truly the empire of Emperor Ashoka, and this stands as my lawful, moral, and spiritual foundation.

6. Universal Message

In the present world where violence, war, exploitation, and injustice prevail, the way of Right Livelihood is urgently needed.

• If every nation follows Right Livelihood as Ashoka did, peace and fraternity will prevail upon earth.

• Trade, politics, and science will be used for the welfare of all, not for destruction.

• Human beings will live with compassion towards one another, towards animals, and towards the environment.
